We finally get a little selling. Great. It's time to do a little buying. Don't barf when they sell - nibble instead.

This market needed to be sold down to offer an opportunity for us to add more exposure. Could we be all wet behind the ears and just plain wrong about a small pullback before another attempted push? Well, sure. You have to respect that you can bring wrong on any trade. The key is to do it in a way that can make money over time and control risk. Easier said than done of course.

Two observations on the market here. First, the dollar found some buying but it was fear induced. The Euro strength is tied to the Italian governments actions to curb government spending. I'm starting to think my timing may be wrong on the strong dollar and am looking to cut exposure by end of day if it looks that way.

So a weaker dollar is good for most everything although one my question that thought today given the selling in most everything. To that I say that the market trades as a monolithic trade right now - up or down. Individual stocks just trade at differing amplitudes in terms of price swings.

I believe we will see some sort of rally attempt of which I will look to sell some rentals picked up on the decline and then we get pressure into the close again because tomorrow is the big bad GDP number and that may result in more fear induced selling into the close of which I'll probably look to add back again. The desire is to build exposure without sacrificing much in the way of performance over the short term.
